Features & Benefits
Superior Impact Resistance
With Izod impact strength of 11 KJ/m² (23°C), CHIMEI PH-88 HIPS resists cracks and breaks, perfect for toys and rugged electronics housings that require long-term durability.
Heat-Resistant Performance
A Vicat softening point of 96°C (1KG) ensures stability in high-temperature environments, making it ideal for appliances or automotive components exposed to heat.
Easy Processing & Consistency
A melt flow index of 5.5 ml/10 min enables smooth injection molding, reducing cycle times and waste for cost-efficient production of complex parts like thin-walled containers.
Use & Applications
- Toys: Withstands drops and impacts (e.g., action figures, outdoor play equipment).
- Electronics: Durable shells for TVs, printers, and small appliances needing heat resistance.
- Daily Essentials: Lightweight yet sturdy containers, kitchenware, and cosmetic packaging.
