Covestro Makrolon® AL2447 is a UV-stabilized, low-viscosity polycarbonate resin engineered for automotive lighting. Featuring optical clarity (89% transmittance), easy mold release, and availability in transparent/signal colors, it excels in high-precision injection molding for demanding applications like headlamp lenses.
