Makrolon 2258 RE PC Resin

Makrolon® 2258 RE is a low-viscosity, partially bio-circular polycarbonate resin with 34 cm³/10 min MVR (300°C/1.2 kg). It offers easy mold release, biocompatibility per ISO 10993-1, and renewable content via ISCC PLUS mass balance. Ideal for transparent/opaque medical and industrial parts needing steam/ETO sterilization.

  • Character: easy release; biocompatible according to many ISO 10993-1 test requirements; available in transparent and opaque colors. CQ renewable attributed.
  • Application: Injection molding; Medical devices; suitable for ETO and steam sterilization at 121 °C
