Makrolon 9125 PC Resin

Covestro Makrolon 9125 is a 20% glass fiber-reinforced, flame-retardant PC-GF20 resin (ISO: PC-GF20 FR). With medium viscosity and easy mold release, it delivers dimensional stability (0.3–0.5% shrinkage), UL 94V-0 compliance at 1.5mm, and MVR of 8.0 cm³/10 min (300°C/1.2 kg). Ideal for injection-molded opaque industrial parts.

Makrolon 9125 achieves UL 94V-0 (1.5mm), V-2 (0.36mm), and 35% oxygen index. It eliminates fire risks in electrical/electronic components without secondary coatings.

Reinforced Mechanical Strength

20% glass fiber boosts tensile strength (85 MPa) and stiffness (5,800 MPa modulus). Ensures structural integrity in load-bearing parts like automotive brackets.

High Thermal Stability

It withstands 138°C at 1.8 MPa (HDT) and 145°C Vicat softening. Maintains performance in high-heat environments like power tools or LED housings.
