Features & Benefits

Superior Heat Resilience

With a Vicat softening temperature of 184°C and deflection under load up to 174°C (0.45 MPa), Apec® 1803 withstands prolonged heat exposure. Ideal for automotive headlamps or halogen connectors, preventing deformation in high-temperature environments.

Exceptional UV Stability

UV-stabilized formulation retains optical clarity (89% transmittance) and mechanical integrity after long-term sun exposure. Perfect for outdoor lighting covers (ships, brake lights) that resist yellowing and brittleness.

Optimized Processing Efficiency

Low, consistent shrinkage (0.85%) and tailored melt temps (330–340°C) reduce warping and scrap rates. Simplifies injection molding of complex light covers while maintaining dimensional stability.
