Makrolon 6487 PC Resin Flame retardant grades

Makrolon 6487 Polycarbonate Resin by Covestro delivers superior flame retardancy (UL 94V-0/1.5mm & 5VA/3.0mm), medium flow (9.0 cm³/10 min MVR), and UV stability. Ideal for injection molding, it ensures easy release and comes in opaque colors for demanding industrial applications.

  • Character: flame retardant; MVR (300 °C/1.2 kg) 9.0 cm³/10 min; UL 94V-0/1.5 mm and 5VA/3.0 mm; medium viscosity; UV stabilized; easy release; available in opaque colors only

  • Drying: 120°C for 2–3 hrs (≤0.02% moisture)
