Chimei Polylac® PA-709

Chimei Polylac PA-709 ABS Resin

Polylac® PA-709 Super Impact General ABS Resin

Polylac PA-709 is a high-performance ABS material used in medical and industrial applications. It offers low monomer residue (EU 10/2011) and ISO10993 biocompatibility. With high impact strength (37 kJ/m²) and tensile strength (40 MPa), it is durable even in cold conditions. Easy to mold at 220°C and with UL94 HB flammability standards, it is ideal for medical, electrical, or durable parts.

  • Application: Plumbing fittings/front and rear vehicle spoiler/motorcycle fenders/safety helmets/water filter casings
  • Character: Ultra high impact strength/good low temperature resistance

Chimei Polylac® PA-709 Application

Safe for Medical Use

Polylac PA-709 ABS resin meets EU 10/2011 standards for low monomer residue and passes ISO10993 biocompatibility tests. This makes it ideal for medical devices like housings or too

High Strength & Durability

With a tensile strength of 40 MPa and Izod impact resistance of 37 kJ/m² (23°C), PA-709 ABS resists cracks and wear. It stays tough even in cold environments (-30°C), perfect for equipment needing long-lasting performance.

Easy to Process Safely

The resin’s melt flow index of 6 ml/10min (220°C) ensures smooth molding. Pre-dry at 80–85°C for 2–4 hours, and mold below 240°C to avoid degradation. Its UL94 HB flammability rating adds safety for electrical or medical parts.
