WONDERLITE PC-110L SAE Grade Automotive Head Lamp Use

Chi Mei PC Wonderlite® PC-110L is a UV-stabilized polycarbonate resin engineered for automotive lighting, including headlamps. Compliant with AMECA (SAEJ576) and ECE-R112 standards, it delivers exceptional impact resistance, thermal stability (Vicat 148°C), and flame retardancy (UL94 V-2).

UV Stabilization & Weather Resistance

Wonderlite PC-110L is UL 746C-certified for outdoor use, resisting UV degradation and water immersion. This prevents yellowing and maintains optical clarity in automotive headlamps exposed to sunlight, rain, or snow.

High Impact Resistance

With an Izod Impact Strength of 70 KJ/m² (23°C), PC-110L withstands road debris and accidental drops without cracking, reducing warranty claims and replacement costs for manufacturers.

Thermal Stability Under Heat

A Vicat Softening Temperature of 148°C and Heat Distortion Temperature of 127°C (1.8MPa) ensure headlamps retain shape and function even near engine heat or extreme climates.
