TAIRILAC® AC3830 PC Resin Self Extinguishing Grade

Tairilite AC3830 is a versatile polycarbonate resin produced by FCFC FORMOSA for demanding applications. This halogen-free, UV-resistant material combines exceptional light diffusion, mid-flow processability, and self-extinguishing properties (UL 94 V-0) in a single solution—ideal for optical components and safety-critical parts.

  • Thermal Stability: HDT 128°C (1.8 MPa)
  • Flame Rating: UL 94 V-0 (1.0–3.0 mm), 5VA (3.0 mm)
  • Electrical Safety: CTI PLC 2, HWI/HAI PLC 0-1
  • Outdoor Durability: f1-rated (UV/water resistance)
  • Processing: Pre-dry at 120°C for 4–8 hrs; max barrel temp 330°C.
